Those who wish to change the world
According to their desire
Cannot succeed
The world can only be changed by the Tao
It cannot be shaped by the self
Trying to change it
One only damages it
Trying to possess it
One only loses it
So some will lead, while others follow
Some will be warm, others cold
Some will be strong, others weak
Some will get to where they are going,
Others will fall by the wayside
So the sage will neither be wasteful nor forceful
