All things come from the Tao
Nourished by its outpouring
With matter they take shape
With use perfects them
Therefore all things
Without exception
Honor the Tao
Not by law
But by being
Thus it is the Tao that nourishes all things
Brings them to growth
Matures them, maintains them
Multiplies and spreads them
Yet it shapes without force, without control
This is its mystery in operation
