Give up yourself and you become whole
Bend and you will straighten
Be empty and you will be filled
Decay and you will be renewed
Want and you will acquire
Fulfill and you will become wanting
The sage accepts the world
As the world accepts the Tao
He does not display himself
And so is clearly seen
He does not seek commendation
And so is recognized
He does not boast
And so is credited
He does not take pride in himself
And so endures
He does not make war
And so none do battle with him
The ancients said, "Accept and you become whole"
Once whole, the whole is as if your home
